What Pantrii stores

Pantrii stores your account profile, household membership, shopping lists, receipt-derived items and totals, subscription status, and device registration needed for notifications; support messages you send us, our replies, and the app version, operating system and version, and device model attached to them; emails you send to support@ or privacy@pantrii.shop.

Receipt and list photos

A receipt or shopping-list photo you select is uploaded to a private temporary location for text extraction, then deleted after processing. Extracted receipt data, and the list items you choose to add, remain in your household until deleted.

How data is used

Data is used to sync shared lists, deliver requested household notifications, extract receipts, produce spending insights, provide support, and protect the service. Pantrii does not sell personal data.

Processors and retention

Pantrii uses Microsoft Azure for authentication, storage, processing, and notifications; RevenueCat plus Apple or Google for subscriptions; Sentry for error diagnostics; and PostHog for pseudonymous product events when those services are enabled. Postmark (ActiveCampaign) sends and receives our email. Account data is retained while your account is active; you can export or delete it in Settings.

Apple Reminders and Siri (iPhone)

If you link an Apple Reminders list, Pantrii reads the names of your Reminders lists so you can choose one, and reads and changes to-dos only in the list you link. Items you choose to bring in become shopping list items, so their titles sync to Pantrii's servers and are visible to everyone in your household. Items you add in Pantrii are written to that Reminders list, and anyone that list is shared with in iCloud can see them.

If you turn on Siri, Pantrii keeps a copy of your open list items, pantry and saved recipe ingredients in a file on your iPhone so Siri can answer; it never leaves your device, is deleted when you turn Siri off or sign out, and Siri needs your iPhone unlocked.

To stop: unlink Reminders or switch off Use Pantrii with Siri in Settings, Apple, or remove Pantrii's access to Reminders in iOS Settings.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in device settings, correct receipt fields, export your data, leave shared households, and permanently delete your account in the app.
